On Thursday, 4 December 2025, the John Rylands Library hosted a special Open Night to celebrate its 125th anniversary. Guests explored the library’s rich history and remarkable collections.
The Humanitarian Archive featured prominently, with a dedicated stand showcasing selected items from its holdings. Archivist Flora Chatt engaged attendees with fascinating insights into the materials on display, offering a deeper understanding of the archive’s significance.
More than thirty guests, including academics and potential collaborators, joined the evening. The event provided an excellent opportunity to highlight the work of DHM and HAE, sparking conversations about future partnerships and research.
